Instincto are open for business as usual.

These are unprecedented and worrying times for everyone, however the team at Instincto would like to reassure you that we are doing all we can to support our community and fur friends.

Food Safety and Precautions

Instincto is a food handling and manufacturing business.  Guidelines and recommendations provided to us from governments and health organisations around hygiene and food preparation are measures that are already standard practice for us. We will be continuing to uphold these strict standards and keep up to date with any new guidelines as required.  

As further precautions, we also have:

• A highly trained team that are well separated
• Contactless payment methods
•  Low staff numbers
•  Low traffic numbers through our shop-now requesting a max of 2 in our store at a time.

Do you Still Have Food Available?

Instincto are well stocked, so there is no need to rush or stock up.

Although kangaroo protein has made a comeback after a drop in supply due to the floods we are currently unable to supply this protein straight up.  This is due to lower numbers and an increase in demand for human consumption across the supermarkets. We will instead use our resources to provide this as a mixed product until our resources build.  This will assist with getting this vital protein to as many furkids as possible. Once stocks increase, we will certainly let you know when the straight Roo is back online.

Can We Still Pick Up Our Order?

Yes, you can still choose store pickup. We offer an easy pick up option which is safe and requires minimal contact.  You can order and pay online before coming into the shop to collect your order from our freezer. This will limit social interactions, exchanging of money etc, ensuring we keep you and our staff safe from unnecessary exposure.

You do need to allow a minimum of 2 days’ notice, so that orders can be arranged and printed off. All pickups are to be after 2.30pm on Wednesdays and Fridays due to these being processing days. Except Saturdays which is anytime. Please bring your docket for pickup.

Can we still have our orders delivered?

Yes, delivery is our most popular option especially during this time. We can leave your delivery at the door, so there is no need to have contact with the driver. We just ask that you leave the delivery box outside the door so that we can collect for recycling.  We would also ask that you advise us if your household has, or has been exposed to, COVID-19 so we can take the necessary further precautions.

What are the Delivery Times

We recommend getting orders in by the weekend, we then process on a Monday and delivery as below. Just keep in mind we need at least 3 days’ notice for deliveries.

We deliver around Brisbane as follows:

• Tuesday, we deliver around Ipswich and east and west around the city.
• Wednesday, we deliver to the northside and up to Caboolture
• Thursday, we deliver to the Sunshine and Gold Coasts

If you are outside our fresh delivery area, we can organise frozen products through normal freight, where these are still operating, please contact us for freight pricing and website instructions. Additionally, we ship dry products across Australia to any postcode. You can use our delivery calculator to see which option is available for your postcode.

 Keeping You Updated
